The Faculty of Natural Sciences was established in 1981 with the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Geography. Three years later, the Department of Biosciences was born and became a part of the faculty. Another addition to the faculty was made in 1999 with the creation of the Department of Computer Science. Thus, the faculty has following Departments:
