The branch of Physics which deals with the study involving emission, behaviour, and effects of electrons and with electronic devices is known as Electronics. The study uses various devices such as semiconductors, resistors, inductors, capacitors, nano-structures, and vacuum tubes etc. All applications of electronics involve the transmission of either information or power.
Electronics Science and Electronics Engineering are different. The former only study the theoretical concept while the later apply it practically by designing and constructing electronic circuits etc. Electronics have wide application in our day to day life. |
